Each age group participates in age appropriate, well designed, activities and trips. All activities are taught by specialists in their fields who have experience working with children.

At Gan Israel, campers participate in a variety of sports activities, receive expert coaching and enjoy a wide array of recreational activities. Our sports coaches are professional physical education instructors who teach with patience, guidance and encouragement. Individual and group training will allow each camper to end the summer a better athlete. Our focus on good sportsmanship and self confidence makes everyone a winner!
Sports are designed for all children from beginner to advanced levels! Campers receive top-notch instruction from professional coaches while learning about sportsmanship, gaining confidence, and just plain having fun. They learn the fundamentals of basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, and other sports, and participate in skills contests.

The daily swimming activity in Gan Israel’s beautiful onsite pool is a huge highlight of the day.
In addition to free swim, we offer three swim lessons weekly. Swimming training and technique improvement are under the guidance of the Red Cross & Suffolk County Certified Water Safety Instructors.
Campers who sign up for swimming instruction are tested at the onset of the summer and placed in appropriate training groups for instruction. Our goal is to utilize the swimming time at camp to improve the campers’ swimming skills and motivate them for greater aquatic ability. Rest assured that safety is priority #1.
Gymnastics Instruction
Professional Gymnastics Instructions are offered in an non-competitive, non-stressful environment where children receive instruction on various gymnastic activities, including tumbling and floor exercises.

Camp Gan Israel’s Creative Arts and Nature program allows campers to explore the world around them and to express their creativity in different art forms whether it be painting, dancing or arts and crafts.
Our staff members inspire, guide and encourage campers to recognize and develop their creative potential. Many projects are based on the camps weekly themes.
Specialty Days
Kids look forward to the amazing surprise specialty days which include bounce houses, paint workshops, magic shows, science shows, ventriloquist, Illusionist, Bubble Trouble show, sports shows, Circus show and workshop, and so much more
Weekly Trips
Included in Gan Israel’s treasure trove of activities is the exciting weekly field trips. Trips are well designed with each age group in mind. Trips include: Splish Splash, Adventureland, FunFuzion, Skyzone, Go-Karting, Laser Bounce, Pump It Up, Bayville Adventure Park, IMAX Theater, Boat Cruise, Long Island Children’s Museum, Active Kidz, Laser Tag, Bowling, Boomer’s, Museum of Moving Image, Dave ‘n’ Busters, White Post Farms, “Gamin’ Ride” Mobile Video Game Theater, and more!
